Following Hard After God

What does a phrase like this mean? How would we do it? Is it something you do? Is it something you would want to do?

    It means living the Christian life. God asks us to “seek Him first” and to love Him with all our soul, all our strength, all our thoughts. So, to follow hard after God means to simply do what He has asked of us. And what He has asked of us is to pursue Him and love Him more and more, which looks like an ever-increasing faithfulness. Every Christian is called to follow hard after God.
